Copeland’s $ 600,000 renovations marks a
new direction in the Marina’ operations
As a result of the $600,000 investment by Al Copeland Investments
(ACI), Mariner’s Village Marina which is being renamed
Lake Pontchartrain Harbor Marina has begun
its transformation into a premier Northshore destination.
Lake Pontchartrain Harbor Marina at 225 Antibes St., West, Mandeville, Louisiana
is conveniently located 200 yards east of the Causeway with
immediate proximity to the lake. The new docks can accommodate boats up to 70 ft. in length
and the marina offers gas, diesel, ice, water, electricity, pump
out, trash pick up, and 24 hour live security.To date, ACI has fully reconstructed almost half of the 170
boat slips, rebuilt partial shoreline and dredged the channel to Lake Pontchartrain, which experienced severe damage
during Hurricane Katrina. As restorations continue, ACI recently appointed Frank
Hijuelos to serve as Marina Manager. Hijuelos will lead the construction efforts and ongoing
facility improvements to the 15-acre site as well as serve as Harbor
Master.
